OBJECTIVES
To encourage every member of the church to be an active member of a particular home cell.
To have a home cell in every area where we have a representation To have the evangelism and outreach programmes understood by all cells To have evangelisms and outreaches carried out by individual home cells

 INTRODUCTION
A cell is a smallest organism in the body such that when it matures it divides forming part of the body system and tissues. Similarly the church that is healthy has small groups of believers meeting in various locations as home cells. A home cell is one of the most vital ministry in our church and if nurtured properly can stand as the most effective tool for evangelism and outreach. A home cell is a good ground for one to one fellowship and can help young Christians (new converts) come to maturity.

 GO CELL
The vision for Home Cells is to see a number of cells opened in various homes of our church members so as to reach out in those communities where we have representation. We challenge all our members to get involved and together build a network of home cells throughout the city. Let every GO Cell become an oasis of hope and refreshment, where the Holy Spirit is free to minister to the needs of members and friends in our own homes.

 EXPAND YOUR VIEW
Imagine... As you are reading this, there are scores of people out there away from home, far from close friends and a few others distanced even from the local church. These are truck and bus drivers with their colleagues. The nature of their work is very demanding and they are always on the move. As a result, they have no time to attend a church service. Most of these are oftentimes on the roads transporting varieties of goods from one country to another. Taking a local perspective, you can undoubtedly notice a lot of taxis and minibuses. These are chauffeured and manned by people who must be urgently reached with the gospel of Jesus Christ. That is where Gospel Outreach Fellowship comes in with its tool, SALT. Jesus said, "Behold I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for the harvest." (John 4:35 b) This statement is still fresh to all of us. Will you embrace this challenge? You definitely can take part in reaching this vast harvest field for Jesus Christ.
We would like to train leaders (shepherds) who will lead these cells which will not exceed 15 members in each cell. Our format is that every cell will be led by a shepherd servant assisted by a shepherd intern (assistant) so that when the cell grows to more than 15 members the group can multiply and the shepherd Intern becomes a shepherd servant and leads a new group. It doesn’t matter whether we have two or more home cells in the same street. Our goal is to see that wherever we are effective evangelism takes place, hence the emphasis on leadership training.

 MEETING DAYS
We meet in various homes every Thursday. Time varies according to each particular home cell.

 HOME CARING
In a home cell setup it is easy for us to care for the needs of our members E.g. sickness, funerals and many other needs. As much as home cells can take care of various needs it is however very important that we keep in touch with the church office, through our leadership structure.
